Anaya and Churchdown are an upcoming duo from South Wales. With different backgrounds in music, they both bring different styles to the table and aim to not be confined by one genre, but cross boundaries into country and rock. They say: Long Way Down is a personal song to us; it's about remembering how far you've come and what you've achieved before throwing it all away. When the pressures in life get too much, it's easy to want to give up, but the further you've climbed the ladder, the further you have to fall if you let go. It's a reminder that when you feel like you're drowning, just take a break; don't spiral or get in your own head, just take a breath, look around and feel grateful that you have so many good things you're worried about losing.
